Getting the best deal on a product will make any holiday shopper happy. Items like laptops, HD flat screen televisions, kitchen appliances, and the Fallout 4 video game are all hot holiday gifts, and they’re being heavily discounted by retailers on Black Friday to lure customers into their stores.

As enticing as many of the door-buster savings and early-bird specials are, some bargain hunters prefer to avoid the hectic Black Friday rush by shopping for deals online. This time of year is usually the busiest and most profitable day for retailers. According to Bloomberg, consumers spent over 50 billion dollars on Black Friday deals in 2014. But it’s also a profitable time for shoppers, as they get to experience great prices on the items they want.

We all love a great bargain, but not everyone finds going out early enjoyable when you have to deal with unruly shoppers and long checkout lines. Retailers hear you, and that’s why many have extended their exact –or similar- sales to their online site!

Getting the goodies you want at a great price has never been so easy. You can shop online for the best prices inside your apartment home – and you can do it while wearing your favorite pajamas! To ensure you get the best price for your holiday gifts, here are some tips for finding great Black Friday online sales.

Make a List

Before you begin to browse the sites and fill your online shopping cart with goodies, make a gift list of everyone you’ll be buying for – and stick to that list! This is a great way to stay on budget, and avoid the temptation of buying just because it’s Black Friday.

Start Researching Now

Scoping out the deals now will help you land the perfect gift at a price that won’t break the budget. Websites such as Dealnews.comBlackfriday.info, and Bfads.net will help to advise you where the hot deals are and what promos will be available, come Friday, November 27th. While you’re doing your pre-Black Friday research, keep in mind places that are offering bonus incentives, like a promo discount or free shipping. It’s amazing how much more you can spend with added shipping fees, so getting a free shipment or discount to cover the shipment is a great feeling!

Price Check Everything

You may find a price that is slightly higher than another for the same product. Compare prices at websites like Shopping.com or Pricegrabber.com for the best deal. A lot of retailers now do price-matching for their customers. If you find the product cheaper at a competitor, they’ll match the price for you. Now this is usually for consumers going in-store, but some online retailers can do this, too. Another idea would be to pick up your order in-store and have them adjust the receipt on-site.

Find Coupon Codes

By subscribing to stores you shop at, you can stay on top of active coupon codes. Retailers may have some coupon codes circulating on Black Friday, so keep a list of codes available at your side before you check out. Look for free goodies, free shipping, and additional discount codes to add to your list.  Just make sure you type in your code into the coupon/promo box to receive your markdown.
