Football Game Day Snacks to Share

Author: Lauren Ross

We are only a few weeks out from the 2017 regular collegiate and NFL season! A game day get-together in your apartment is an excellent way to celebrate the beginning of football. One thing that really makes a football party stand out from the rest (aside from an epic game) is the food! Ready to kickoff a great season? Serve these game day snacks and you’ll have just set a record for a great party.

Stadium Dip Trio

Don’t settle for just one dip to share. The Trio – which includes Chile con queso, guacamole and salsa – is not only fun to look at, but also fun to eat! Section off a baking pan with foil that represents the home and visitor end zones. One end will get salsa and the other queso, with guacamole in the middle. Include a chip plate – and you’re all set for kickoff!

Beer Ball Pretzels

I’m all in for soft pretzels, who else? This sport snack is where it’s at and my absolute go-to stadium food. The recipe requires 3 beers of your choice, so the dough comes out a perfect golden-brown. Pair these yummy pretzels with mustard so your guests can dip, eat and enjoy!

Pick-Six Popcorn

Every now and then you get a craving for something sweet and salty. When this craving hits, make sure you have something available that will satisfy it. To make this recipe, simply pop some popcorn either on the stove or in the microwave and let cool. Toss in your favorite colorful candies along with some mini marshmallows. Serving this sweet and salty mix is a great way to cheer your home team onto VICTORY this football season!
