Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

  • Release Date: November 21, 2014
  • Synopsis: The “girl on fire” has landed in District 13 – a district believed to have been wiped out after the first rebellion. After Katniss’ arrival, she is greeted by the news that she has destroyed the games forever. Katniss becomes the Mockingjay, the symbol of the second rebellion and fights to save Peeta who has been hijacked by the Capitol after the Quarter Quell.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

The enraged Smaug causes utter madness on the residents of Lake-town. Meanwhile, unseen by all except for Gandalf, the enemy Sauron returns and sends throngs of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain. As the enemy grows stronger, the races of Dwarves, Elves, and Men must decide to unite as one or be destroyed by Sauron.

Into the Woods

  • Synopsis: Based on the Tony Award winning Broadway musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim, this musical fantasy film puts a modern twist on famous Brothers Grimm fairy tales and follows the repercussions of character’s wishes and expeditions. When a baker and his wife learn they have been cursed childless by a witch who lives in the woods, they make their way into the woods to find all necessary objects required to break it. The story follows the characters from Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel.

  • Synopsis: The film follows the life of Margaret and Walter Keane. Walter Keane was a famous painter of the “Big-eyed children” collection in the 1950s and 1960s. After the truth comes out that the paintings were the work of his wife Margaret, the film covers their heated divorce, Walter’s fraudulent claims, and Margaret’s newfound fame as an artist.

The Interview

Before they are to depart, the journalists are recruited by the CIA as assassins to eliminate the North Korean leader.
