The Apartment Finder Team made “More Connections – In more places! In more ways!” Serving up their suite of products with maximum impact, internet focus and on-demand marketing at the 2012 National Apartment Association Education Conference and Exposition in Boston, June 28-30, 2012!
As usual, it was a fun-filled, educational event for everyone attending. The first day began with a baseball themed kickoff party to pump everyone up. The crowd of early morning attendees was divided into sections to represent their baseball team (the Apartment Finder group was seated in the home-town favorite Boston Red Sox section). Each team was urged to cheer on their onstage representative answering trivia questions. When the team onstage answered the question correctly, the emcees would throw baseballs out into the crowd (rubber baseballs so as not to hurt anyone!) and award a lucky person from the audience with money! The trivia questions all centered on this year’s conference and educational sessions – so everyone in the room was immediately caught up on the events and seminars for the week! What a fun way to get acclimated!
After the kickoff party, the first general session culminated with guest speaker Tom Brokaw! This was an absolutely AMAZING experience. We all know the voice that has led television news for decades, and to hear him emphasize the importance of increasing in-person communication was fascinating. He encouraged the crowd to find the problems and move forward – “Uncle Sam needs all of us to re-inlist as citizens – the mantra for our time.”
Then, the excitement on the tradeshow floor the first day was hard to miss, especially in the Apartment Finder booth! Clients were lined up to step inside the AF Passport Connection booth and have their photo taken. The boutique “gift with purchase” items were the talk of the booth and kept clients coming back for more! Click here to check out the Apartment Finder photo booth pictures!
The first night closed with the NAA Opening Party at the waterfront Bank of America Pavilion. Over 2,000 people attended and milled around the pavilion, sampling the food from the various “Taste of Boston” food stations and enjoying the sounds of the band in the amphitheater. The event closed in grand Boston – almost 4th of July style – with a spectacular fireworks show over the Boston Harbor. A grand evening indeed!
Friday was just as fun! The trade show continued, and clients kept coming back for more of the photo booth and the boutique items - it was another successful day of making lots of clients happy with superior Orange Service!
